Pinsight ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when you use the Pinsight mobile application (the "App").

• Account information: email address and authentication credentials managed by Supabase Auth when you register.
• Profile information: display name, handicap index, handedness, and preferred distance units — all optional.
• Golf data: courses, rounds, hole-by-hole scores, putts, fairway and green statistics, and mistake notes you record in the App.

Information generated automatically

• AI coaching insights: limited golf performance statistics from your rounds may be sent to Google's Gemini API to generate personalised coaching insights. We do not include your name, email address, or password in these requests.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account.
• To store and display your golf rounds and statistics.
• To generate personalised AI coaching insights using limited golf performance data.
• To improve the App's features, reliability, and user experience.
• To fix bugs, monitor performance, and prevent misuse of the App.
• To process and analyze data required to provide core app functionality.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for advertising purposes.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely on Supabase, which is hosted on cloud infrastructure. Data is encrypted in transit using TLS. Supabase provides database security controls, and Row-Level Security policies are used to help ensure each user can only access their own data. Authentication is managed by Supabase Auth.

4. Third-Party Services

5. Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at support@pinsightgolfapp.com. Once completed, deletion is permanent and irreversible.

Pinsight is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
